StockWatch (Newsletter 03)

Spring is here with the promise of warmer weather for those of us that have been subject to the cooler months. But wherever you are in the country it is also the season for more stock market recovery and it is certainly nice to see more green on the portfolio page.

Since our last newsletter some exciting things have happened in the StockWatch world including the end of Game 3, cracking the 2000 member mark and the introduction of some handy new game features.

Game 3 Gold goes to MurphysLaw!

Well done MurphysLaw on taking out first place in Game 3 in a competitive pool of 459 Players. Proof that, what can go wrong won't always go wrong

Honourable mentions go to mrwalker and ShultzWeather who came in at 2nd and 3rd place respectively

For those of you who are still playing with Game 3, the Game is officially over and this Leaderboard will self destruct in the not too distant future

In Game 2

As a StockWatch veteran, StonedSmurfz has clearly developed some serious investment skills since his humble beginnings, climbing and sustaining the top position in game 2

Following close behind in position 2 is no other then MurphysLaw who is roughly 50 points ahead of the winner of game 1, Green88

With less than 7 weeks to go, this is going to be a very interesting finish indeed

Game 4 Elimination!

Yes, it sounds like a Gladiator Challenge, but in reality it's far scarier

Starting November 2nd to December 11th, a new Game 4 will begin. To make things easy, those who registered for Game 3 will automatically be registered for game 4, all other players can register for game 4 via this Game 4 link. Members will have one week to build their portfolios before November the 6th. On this day only the top 250 portfolios will remain, all other portfolios will be... ELIMINATED!

Portfolios will reset to even the playing field and elimination will continue until only 10 players remain to battle it out in the last week.

The elimination cutoffs are:

• Top 250
• Top 150
• Top 100
• Top 50
• Top 10

Those who fall below the cut off will be eliminated

StockWatch Version 1.9.6

We hope you're enjoying all the new features we add along the way. From the feedback we have received the stock Watchlist has proven to be a much appreciated tool

Some of the main differences you will notice in version 1.9.6 will include:

• The portfolio page loading faster then ever before
• Issues fixed with StockWatch not remembering what game members selected when they next login
• Items that are in players share portfolios will be highlighted in their stock trading list
